Doggy Day Care at the Wey Farm Kennels

For all of you who are going back to work and need the comfort of knowing that your pet is safe and sound and being well looked after, we have introduced our Doggy Day Care service.

We have also adjusted our opening hours to make it easier for you - we are now open from 7am to 6pm, 7 days a week.

The cost is a simple flat fee of £15 per day, per dog, including VAT.

If you wish to book your dog in for an overnight stay, normal boarding fees apply. Please use the standard boarding request form.

To take advantage of this service you must

  • complete our Doggy Day Care Booking Form
  • pay upfront. We will provide our bank details once the booking has been made and accepted
  • scan their dog's vaccination card to our email address. Dogs must be fully vaccinated (including the Kennel Cough vaccination)
  • adhere to the 2 metre distancing rule and use the hand sanitiser provided at the farm
  • call at the gate on arrival to gain access to the farm

For hygiene reasons, all bedding & toys are supplied by Wey Farm. We therefore do not accept owners' belongings.

Conditions of Doggy Day Care at Wey Farm

  1. Owners must complete our online Doggy Day Care Booking Form, ensuring the owner's current contact details and address are correct, before their dog attends the Day Care

  2. Doggy Day Care at Wey Farm only operates during our non-busy periods (e.g. School Holidays)

  3. For hygiene reasons, all bedding and toys are supplied by Wey Farm. We, therefore, do not accept Owner’s belongings. 

  4. Vaccination information:
    1. Owner’s must scan their Dog’s vaccination card to our email address ( before their dog attends Doggy Day Care

    2. Owners must provide staff with a current Veterinary Certificate of Vaccination and/or Booster. No dog will be accepted unless it has been vaccinated against: Distemper, Infectious Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvo virus, Parainfluenza and has received the intra nasal Bordatella vaccine (Kennel Cough).
      • The Annual Booster Vaccination must be done at least 14 days prior to arrival.
      • The Kennel Cough Vaccination needs to have been done at least 5 days before arrival as it is a live vaccination.
        Please ensure that you check with your vet that this has been done as it is not something the vet will do automatically.

    3. Wey Farm Staff will use a microchip reader to find the Dog’s Microchip Number and the number will be saved on Wey Farm’s computer system

  5. Payment information:
    1. Owners must pay upfront. We will provide our bank details once the booking has been made and accepted.
    2. Prices are subject to change without prior notice

  6. Veterinary attention:
    1. Dogs at Doggy Day Care Wey Farm receive every care and attention. Should any animal require treatment, the Management reserve the right to call a Veterinary Surgeon and act upon their advice. The expense incurred must be met by the owner of the animal.

    2. Wey Farm’s choice of Veterinary Practice is Pet Doctors (and has been for over 30 years); it will be there that advice and help will be sought from, should the need arise.

  7. Dogs from different households sharing:
    1. Owners who are happy for their dog to mix with other dogs whilst he/she is attending Doggy Day Care, must give consent. Consent is given by owners on our Booking Form; owners answer ‘yes’ or ‘no’ when asked ‘I am happy for staff members at Wey Farm to mix (dog’s name) with another dog whilst he/she is attending Doggy Day Care’.

    2. Dogs from the same household (i.e. if they are already in a pair or group), don’t mix with dogs from other households
  8. Dogs sharing from the same household:
    Dogs coming to Wey Farm from the same household will automatically be put together in the same kennel, unless the owner has specifically asked for them to be separated. Owners must also be aware that dogs from the same household sharing kennel will we separated should any problems arise (e.g. any aggressive behaviours).
